Founded in 1946 and based in Boston, MA the Boston Celtics play their home games at the TD Garden. The Celtics compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference against teams such as Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets. Their mascot 'Lucky the Leprechaun' is a nod to the team's Irish heritage and to Boston's historically large Irish population.
