About Dustin Lynch
Seeing his career essentially rise from nowhere to country stardom over the past couple of years, singer and guitar player Dustin Lynch was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Lynch moved to Nashville in 2003 to try to make it as a singer. That panned out much later, when Broken Bow Records signed him in 2011. A year later, debut single “Cowboys and Angels” landed at the top of the country charts and touched the Top 40. Since that point, he’s had three other singles land in the Country Chart’s top 10. Lynch’s fan base grew after exposure from website Country Weekly. Following, “She Cranks My Tractor” became his second top 20 single, and “Wild in Your Smile” turned into a modest third offering from his self-titled debut album.
Leading into his sophomore effort, "Where It's At (Yep, Yep)" reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in 2014. Into 2015, Lynch continued to release more tracks off Where It’s At. So far, in Lynch’s brief career, his 2012 self-titled album came in at No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts and passed through the top 15 spots of the Billboard 200. To date, the release has sold over 100,000 copies. Lynch’s 2014 follow-up performed nearly as well and further managed to chart in Canada. Where It’s At has sold over 130,000 copies so far. Lynch’s nascent career has already scored him a few nominations at award shows. Although he has yet to take home anything, the American Country Awards nominated “Cowboys and Angels” for its Single of the Year: New Artist category in 2012, while the CMT Music Awards nominated that same track for Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2013.
