About Killswitch Engage
In 1998, Killswitch Engage (KsE or just Killswitch) was formed with members Mike D'Antonio, Adam Dutkiewitz, Joel Stroetzela, and Jesse Leach in Westfield, MA. The members were past members of the bands Overcast and Aftershock.
Killswitch Engage rose to fame with its 2004 release of The End of Heartache that featured the single “The End of Heartache”. The single was up for a 2005 Grammy nod for “Best Metal Performance”
Killswitch has sold over four million records and played in festivals such as Soundwave Festival, Wacken Open Air, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Ozzfest, Download Festival, Rock on the Range, Rock Am Ring, Mayhem Festival, Monsters of Rock, Pointfest, Knotfest and Heavy MTL.
