About Primus
Formed in 1984, Primus is a funk metal band based in San Francisco, CA, currently composed of bassist/vocalist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry "Ler" LaLonde and drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander. Their album Frizzle Fry started getting the band national attention and enabled them to sign a record contract with Interscope Records.
