Dave Chappelle is a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, producer, and actor from Washington, DC. Chappelle’s comic inspiration came from watching Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor in his early years. He is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
He began his career in 1993 by playing Ahchoo in the movie “Mel Brooks’ Robin Hood: Men in Tights”. From there he began landing supporting roles in box office hits including “The Nutty Professor”, and “Con Air”. His first lead role was in the 1998 comedy film “Half Baked”, which he co-wrote with Neal Brennan.
In 2003, Chappelle became more widely known for his sketch comedy television series, Chappelle’s Show, which ran until his retirement from the show two years later. By 2006, Chappelle was called the “comic genius of America” by Esquire.
Jon Stewart is an comedian, writer, producer, director, political commentator, actor, and television host who is best known for being the host of The Daily Show. The Daily Show won 22 Primetime Emmy Awards. Stewart is known as an outspoken, humorous critic of personality-driven media shows, in particular those of the U.S. media networks such as CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC.
