While hitting an average of .305 over his career Aaron went on to be baseball’s “Home Run King”. Aaron broke the record on April 8, 1974, against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He finished his career with 755 home runs and represented the Atlanta Braves in the All-Star Game for 21 consecutive years.
