Fans of rock legend Bob Dylan have a lot to be happy about right now. The 74-year-old singer is set to release a new album on May 20, with a 27-date United States tour to follow.
The album, titled Fallen Angels is expected to be a follow up to Dylan’s 2015 LP Shadows in the Night, an album of standards which had previously been recorded by Frank Sinatra. It’s been reported that the track list will include songs like “That Old Black Magic,” “Come Rain or Come Shine,” and “Melancholy Mood.”
The tour, which will include singer Mavis Staples as an opening act, will kick off on June 4 at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, WA and conclude in Gilford, NH at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. It comes on the heels of more than a dozen shows in Japan in April – fitting considering Dylan’s relentless schedule has been dubbed the “Never Ending Tour” by many fans.
On-sale dates differ by venue, but tickets will begin going on sale this Friday, March 11. More information is available at Dylan’s website, or you can check out tour dates below. [Read more…]
