Lionel Richie Announces 2016 Las Vegas Residency

Lionel Richie will start performing in April of 2016 at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Lionel Richie is joining a long list of celebrities including Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez by announcing a residency in Las Vegas for 2016.

Lionel Richie is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. Beginning in 1968, he was a member of the musical group Commodores signed to Motown Records. Richie made his solo debut in 1982 with the album Lionel Richie and the number-one hit “Truly”. He has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.

Richie will be bringing his show to The Axis at Planet Hollywood in April of 2016. It all kicks off on April 27th.

Richie announced the news on the Today show on Wednesday (Sept. 16), in addition to performing “Easy.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 18th.

Garth Brooks Announces Salt Lake City Shows

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will be taking their traveling shows to the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City, UT on October 30th and 31st.

Garth Brooks is returning to Salt Lake City, UT in October for the first time in 17 years. The two concerts coming in October will sell out quickly.

The shows are set for October 30th and 31st at the Energy Solutions Arena.

Fans have been waiting a long time for the country music star to start touring again. Garth Brooks has been adding dates to his “World Tour” one city at a time. The excitement has been increasing for the two shows planned for the Energy Solutions Arena in October.

Appearing with Brooks will be his wife and fellow country music star, Trisha Yearwood. She will be playing each night and performing her hits such as “How Do I Live” and “Walk Away Joe”. Underwood has an upcoming All For The Hall concert performing alongside Brad Paisley and Vince Gill in Times Square on October 6th.  She’s also headlining her own concert at the Laughlin Events Center in Nevada on October 10th.

Looking for a piece of Rock’n’Roll? Janis Joplin’s wildly painted 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet will be auctioned December 10 by RM Sotheby’s in New York.

Janis Joplin may have longed for a Mercedes-Benz, but she actually drove a Porsche that’s now on its way to the auction block in New York.

The singer’s wildly painted 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet will be auctioned Dec. 10 by RM Sotheby’s in New York.

The car has been featured at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland for the past two decades.

It’s being sold by the Joplin family and is expected to bring more than $400,000.

Joplin bought the pearly white Porsche in September 1968 and got a friend to customize it with a psychedelic mural. She drove it regularly until she died of a drug overdose in 1970.

The car was given a meticulous restoration in the early 1990s.

Madonna has announced five more shows to her United States “Rebel Heart” tour including the cities of San Antonio, Nashville, Tulsa, Louisville, and Houston.

Madonna is an American pop icon from Bay City, MI. She is often referred to as the “Queen of Pop”. With hits such as “Like A Virgin,” “Vogue,” and “Hung Up,” Madonna has made a name for herself on a global scale. Madonna has sold over 300 million records worldwide and has won Grammy’s for her albums, Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor.
