Depeche Mode is hitting the road in North America in 2017 and kicking it all off on August 23rd in Salt Lake City, UT at the Usana Amphitheatre.
Depeche Mode are out in support of their new album, Spirit.
Formed in 1980 in Basildon, Essex, Depeche Mode are an electronic music band whose original line-up consisted of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher, and Vince Clarke. Depeche Mode released their debut album in 1981, Speak & Spell, bringing the band onto the British new wave scene and gaining them a rapid fan base. They began playing around towns performing in larger venues and selling more concert tickets. In the late 80’s their albums, Black Celebration and Music for the Masses, established them as a dominant force and earned them international attention on the mainstream electronic music scene. So much so that they crossed the pond and performed at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA in front of 60,000 screaming fans. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide and were included on the list of the “50 Bands That Changed the World!”
