All for the Hall, the latest in a series of informal “guitar pulls” to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, will take place on September 27 at the Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles. The performers will share songs and stories with the audience in an impromptu format.
James Taylor, Vince Gill, and Chris Stapleton Scheduled to Perform
The acts scheduled to perform include Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Chris Stapleton, legendary singer and songwriter James Taylor, and Vince Gill, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Proceeds from All for the Hall Los Angeles will go to support education programs at the museum.
For the upcoming performance, the museum will work with a nonprofit organization called Education Through Music – Los Angeles that promotes music in schools. Children from a Los Angeles elementary school will write and perform a song at the All for the Hall show.
Past Performers
The All for the Hall campaign was founded by Vince Gill and Keith Urban and was launched in 2005 to raise funds to support the venue financially over the long term. Shows have been held in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Gill has performed in every show.
A performance was held earlier this year at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with co-hosts Gill and Urban. Peter Frampton, Maren Morris, Chris Janson, and other musicians gave electric performances. Past concerts included performances by Taylor Swift, Gregg Allman, Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, Kris Kristofferson, Brad Paisley, Lionel Richie, Paul Simon, Carrie Underwood, Dwight Yoakam, and many other famous performers.
