Iron Maiden has begun announcing dates in South American, Australia, and New Zealand.
Iron Maiden has announced dates to South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in spring 2016. To get there, band member, Bruce Dickinson, will be flying the band in his “Ed Force One“. Dickinson is a certified pilot and will be shuffling the band from city to city in 2016.
Iron Maiden will be out in support of their new double album, The Book Of Souls.
Talking about the new dates, Dickinson hinted to a winter run through the United States (shows have not been announced yet).
Dickinson states, “We can’t wait to get back on tour. When we start in the USA in late February it will be 19 months since our last show at Sonisphere in the U.K. so we are raring to go. Maiden thrives on touring and getting out to our fans. It’s what we do best, so it will be a great feeling to board our new Jumbo Ed Force One with the crew and the gear and head round the globe and get back on stage for you guys. I’m especially delighted to be coming to South Africa, as although the band has played there before, it’ll be the first time that Adrian Smith and myself will be touring here as part of Iron Maiden, so we’re really looking forward to seeing all our fans!”
