Farewell, Aerosmith?
Steven Tyler placed a call to The Howard Stern Show on June 21 to confirm something that had been previously mentioned in the media: Aerosmith is planning a farewell tour for next year. Tyler said it is time, but his manager said the band is not breaking up.
According to Tyler, the details have not been worked out yet. He said he expects the farewell tour to last a long time.
Tyler told Rolling Stone in May that he and the other members of Aerosmith were thinking about a farewell tour. He said he was excited about the prospect of either embarking on a farewell tour or recording another album.
