Tips for Enjoying a Live Baseball Game
Be sure to go with people who you enjoy spending time with. Unlike watching baseball on TV, going to a live game is necessarily a social experience. If you’re a huge baseball fan but you’re dragging along a few people who aren’t, it might dampen your enjoyment.
On the other hand, if you’re not much of a ball fan going with a group of people who are might make you enjoy it, based on their enthusiasm alone. In any case, just remember that you’re there to have a good time and enjoy the company of your friends and loved ones.
Enjoy the atmosphere! A stadium baseball game is like nothing else. Take in the sights, sounds, and even smells of the people around you. People watch, keep an eye on the big screen, and participate in the activities like “the wave.” When else will you get the chance to be around so many other people at once?
Don’t forget to enjoy the culinary delights: no trip to the ball park is complete without a foot long hot dog and a cold beer. Of course, most stadiums have concession stands with a wide variety of options these days, so going hungry shouldn’t be a problem (as long as you brought enough spending cash, that is). Oh, and don’t forget to watch the action on the field!
