Aretha Franklin will join the Pope at the ‘Festival of Families’ to be held at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in September.

Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul, will be joining several other celebrities for the ‘Festival of Families’ event that is part of the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia, PA. The festival will be held at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and include Mark Wahlberg, Jim Gaffigan, The Fray, Andrea Bocelli, Juanes, Marie Miller, Matt Maher, Sister Sledge, and The Philadelphia Orchestra.

This will mark the pope’s first visit to the United States.

The event is co-sponsored by the Holy See’s Pontifical Council for the Family and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
