Tickets Available! Arizona Cardinals vs. Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship

While headlines this week are certain to focus on the high-profile showdown between rivals New England Patriots and Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game at Mile High Stadium, the NFC Championship between the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers is sure to be just as exciting.

The Carolina Panthers, continuing the hot streak of their 15-1 season, defeated the defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks in a 31-24 victory yesterday. While many were predicting the Seahawks to put a stop to the Panthers’ astonishing season, the Panthers proved themselves worthy of next weekend’s championship bout with over 100 rushing yards (the first team to get as many against the Seahawks in months), 150 passing yards, two interceptions, five sacks, and an impressive last-minute onside recovery for the victory. The Panthers are now the undisputed #1 team in the NFC – boasting a solid defense and an office including a quarterback that some have taking to calling “Superman.”

But don’t count the Arizona Cardinals out just yet. With an impressive 14-3 season (the second best in the NFL after the Panthers) and coming off of a dramatic 26-20 overtime victory against the Green Bay Packers, the Cardinals have demonstrated themselves to be a deserving adversary for the Panthers in the NFC’s top rumble.

The Panthers will host the Cardinals in the Championship at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tickets went on sale yesterday, and while they’re still available there’s no guarantee that they’ll be around until game day.  Get your tickets for the 2016 NFC Championship game from CapitalCityTickets.com today. – The opening spread for the game (as of this writing) is Panthers -3.

– The Panthers and Cardinals met last year in the wild card round of the playoffs, ending in a 27-16 victory for Carolina.

– Both the Cardinals and the Cam Newton-led Panthers made headlines throughout the regular season for their explosive offensive games, but most experts are looking the defensive side of things to define the championship showdown. Don’t be surprised if this game is a bitter, low-scoring defensive game.
